What we collect
We collect only information you provide voluntarily — your name, phone number, email (if shared), shipping address, village and state, machine model and fuel-type interest, and any messages exchanged with our sales team on WhatsApp or SMS.
When you browse k2agroindia.com, we record basic anonymous usage data: pages visited, device type, and time on page. We do not collect Aadhaar, PAN, or bank details through this website. Those are exchanged directly with our finance team only when you choose to apply for credit or EMI.
How we use it
We use the information you share to respond to your enquiry, confirm quotations and orders, coordinate delivery and installation with our authorised dealers, process warranty registrations, and — with your consent — send service reminders or subsidy updates on WhatsApp. We do not run marketing campaigns through rented databases or SMS blasts.
Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data. We share only with:
- Authorised dealers and logistics partners — only the fields needed to deliver and install your machine.
- Finance and subsidy partners — only when you have chosen EMI or a state subsidy scheme, and only the documents you upload yourself.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business API) — messages exchanged on our official WhatsApp number are processed via Meta’s Cloud API per WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.
- Government authorities — only when legally required under the Information Technology Act, 2000 or a valid judicial order.
Cookies & analytics
We use only essential cookies needed to keep the site working — no third-party advertising trackers. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which products farmers read about most. Aggregate data only; nothing personally identifiable is sold or shared with advertisers.
Your rights
Under Indian law you can, at any time, ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@k2agroindia.com with the subject “Data Request” and we’ll act within 15 working days. If a dealer or service engineer has misused your information, tell us — we will investigate and revoke their access.
Data retention
Order, warranty, and invoice records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law. Sales enquiry data is retained for 2 years unless you request earlier deletion. WhatsApp conversations are archived on our servers for 12 months, then purged.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes are announced on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If you continue to use our services after the change, you accept the updated policy.
